Key Control List
 This is a Summary of Key Controls. See individual items for details on their functions.
*Be sure to close other applications such as web browsers before starting the game!

◎ Compatible with Keyboard, Gamepads and Mouse Icons
 This software is based on mouse operations, however keyboard or Gamepad operations are expandable.
*Disable the fixed key function!
 When using the Ctrl key described below, be sure to disable the fixed key function.
 If it is enabled, even if you release the l key by using the Ctrl key, it will be the fastest and will not accept other keys.

Mouse Control Conflicts
*When using keyboard operations, controls will not work if the mouse cursor visible. Move the cursor off the screen.
 Also refer to "Moving Characters" in "System Settings" for mouse operations.

Control Character Movement
Mouse Movement
 Click an appropriate place on the screen to move. In the destination target mode, a small flag will appear
  and your characters will move toward it.


Keyboard
 Move left ( A left arrow key or Number pad - 4 or
A Key)
 Move right (A right arrow key or Number pad - 6 or
D Key)
 Move up (An up arrow key or Number pad - 8 or
W Key)
 Move down (A down arrow key or Number pad - 2 or
S Key)
*To activate the WASD key, press the W key on the game screen. Press on the camp screen to disable it.
 You can also use the "Gamepad Button Settings" in Fig. 1.

Gamepad
 Left – Right analog stick
A list of keyboard short cuts are shown below.
Exclusive Keyboard Functions
 F11 Key or ESC Key: Full screen mode and window mode selection switch.
 Number key – 1: 1920x1080 window mode.
 Number key – 2: 1280*960 window mode.
 Number key – 3: 1280*800 window mode.
The screen will return to the previous window mode when in the maximum window display mode.
Switching between screen modes is not possible when the manual are being displayed.
 Number key – 5: Increase volume
 Number key – 6: Lower volume
 Number key – 0:BGM stop. BGM is turned on and off each time the button is pressed. Start BGM again from the beginning.
*In some cases, the timing of the BGM performance parts may shift.
 If the sound is strange, turn the BGM OFF => ON with the numeric key 0 and read again.

 Tab Key: Follow leader formation selection switch
 Y Key: Same as selecting Yes
 N Key: Same as selecting No
 C Key: Control character auto movement ON/OFF selection switch
 T Key or W Key: Camp full background/camp site selection switch
  I Key or S Key:Operation of the map free-scroll is opposite of other movements. The setting can be reversed with the I key.

Icon indications and functions
 M Key: Book icon
 G Key: System icon
 H Key: Settings icon
 J Key or D Key: Request reinforcements icon (when 2nd unit can be called during battle)
 R Key: Magic selection icon (when controlling special characters)
 P Key: Troop unit selection icon (unit selection icon (for 2 unit battles))
 F1 Key: 1st Unit Normal    F5 Key: 2nd Unit Normal
 F2 Key: 1st Unit Attack      F6 Key: 2nd Unit Attack
 F3 Key: 1st Unit Retreat    F7 Key: 2nd Unit Retreat
 F4 Key: 1st Unit Halt         F8 Key: 2nd Unit Halt
 F9 Key: Make Camp if possible

Change Control Character
 Q Key: (Gamepad - D-Pad Left): Front character
 E Key or A Key: (Gamepad - D-Pad Right): Back character
 L Key: (Gamepad - D-Pad Up):    Return to leader
 F Key: (Gamepad - D-Pad Down): Free scroll

Gamepad related supplementary keys, "Fire", "Launch", etc.
 Return (Enter): Confirm
 Space Key: Fire arrows, cast spells
 K Key: Brings up window for system settings and calling reinforcements
 Backspace Key: Cancel
 U Key: Use item
 Ctrl Key: Maximum speed while held down (Some messages are not displayed)
 V Key:   All team members temporarily retreat
 Z Key:   Enlarge map (how much depends on screen size)
 X Key:   Reduce map (how little depends on screen size)

Using the Game Pad

 Start the game with the gamepad connected.
The layout of the gamepad may differ with the model used and the functions of 10 buttons can be changed.
 1. Use the “Gamepad button settings” from the system menu.
 2. Press the button on the Gamepad you wish to change.As shown on the upper right of Fig. 1, the color corresponding to
the location pressed will change.

 3. Select the function to assign from the keyboard and press the key. As shown on the lower right of Fig. 1, the name
of the key will change.

 4. Point and click “Save Pad and return” with the mouse to end.
 5. When you want to cancel without saving, point and click the Return icon on the upper right of the screen.
The functions of the analog stick and the D-Pad cannot be changed.
If the Gamepad is disconnected during the game, it will not work even when reconnected. The game must be restarted
for the Gamepad to work again!


Miscellaneous
 Shift Key: When “Switch Units” is being done during camp and you want to scroll the entire screen with your mouse, hold
down the Shift Key and press the direction on the analog stick.
